MCHS Cheerleaders to host First Annual HoopFest Beauty Pageant

The first annual HoopFest Beauty Pageant will be held on Saturday, November 17, at 5 p.m. in the Reed Conder Gymnasium at Marshall County High School, hosted by the high school’s cheerleaders and proceeds will go to help fund competition expenses.

Girls’ age divisions: 0-18 Months, 19-35 Months, 3-5 Years, 6-9 Years, 10-13 Years, 14-18 Years. Boys’ age divisions: 0-18 Months and 19-35 Months.

Winners in each age division receive a trophy, crown, and FREE entry to all three sessions of HoopFest at MCHS on Nov. 30-Dec. 1, with special recognition and VIP seating. (HoopFest is a two-day basketball event that is one of the nation’s top high school basketball festivals featuring star players and powerhouse teams.) First and second runners-up in each age division receive a trophy.

Attire is casual sportswear for all ages. Winners will be invited to participate in the Benton and Calvert City Christmas Parades.

Entry fee is $25 with an optional fee of $5 for photogenic entries (bring photos). Photogenic pictures must be no larger than 8 X 10 and winners in each age division will receive a trophy.

Entrants may register at 4 p.m. and pay at door, or entries may be mailed and postmarked by Nov. 12, to: MC HoopFest Pageant, ATTN: Haley Chambers, 416 High School Rd, Benton, KY 42025.
