Contractors Needed

West Kentucky Allied Services, Inc. is seeking Private Contractors for weatherizing homes in the Purchase Area under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Stimulus program. Contractors needed for Weatherizing, Heat & A/C, and Plumbing.

Applicants must be proficient in their craft and have good communication skills with clients. Applicant’s work must conform to all applicable codebooks & Ky Housing Corp. spec manuals.

Weatherization jobs will be put out for bids and contracts awarded on a monthly basis.

Participating contractors must conform to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act by paying prevailing wages on a weekly basis and submitting weekly Certified Payroll Reports.

Interested applicants must submit a letter of interest to the WKAS Weatherization Director no later than April 11, 2010.
